What the starting price means

Plans start at $210 per month after an onboarding review. The final level depends on the website stack, risk, update frequency, response time and improvement allowance. Recovery work or a major backlog may require a separate initial project.

01

Relevance

Who this engagement is designed for.

For businesses with a live website that supports enquiries, content or customer trust and needs a named technical owner. The service is best suited to maintainable websites that can be securely accessed, documented and brought under a clear support scope.

02

Recognise the problem

This may be the right service if…

Nobody is clearly responsible for updates, backups or broken enquiry journeys.

The site launched but has not improved with real customer questions or analytics.

Small content or technical changes remain unresolved for too long.

Forms, dependencies, certificates or integrations are checked only after failure.

The business needs predictable support without hiring a full-time developer.

A previous developer or agency no longer provides dependable ownership.

03

Intended outcomes

What the work is designed to improve.

  • 01

A clear owner and documented route for website requests.

  • 02

Routine maintenance, backups and important form checks.

  • 03

Prioritized improvements based on business need rather than random redesign.

  • 04

Better visibility into completed work, risks and next recommendations.

  • 05

A more stable foundation for content, campaigns and future development.

04

A focused scope

What the engagement can include.

Initial website health, access and maintainability review

Dependency, security and configuration updates within the supported stack

Backup, uptime and important form checks

Small content and interface improvements within the monthly allowance

Performance and accessibility corrections by priority

Analytics and Search Console observation when access is provided

Monthly activity summary and prioritized recommendations

Defined response route for support requests

05

Delivery process

A visible route from first conversation to handover.

  1. 01

Review the current website, ownership, access, dependencies and known risks.

  2. 02

Agree the supported stack, monthly allowance, response expectations and request process.

  3. 03

Stabilize high-priority issues and establish backup and monitoring checks.

  4. 04

Complete approved maintenance and improvement work in priority order.

  5. 05

Report completed work, observations and recommended next actions each month.

Scope boundaries

What is not assumed in the starting price.

  • Unlimited development hours or a complete redesign
  • Twenty-four-hour emergency response or guaranteed third-party uptime
  • Paid advertising, social media management or content production by default
  • Unsupported, compromised or undocumented systems before a paid recovery assessment
  • Hosting, domains, plugins and other third-party subscription fees

Anything additional can be discussed and stated explicitly in the proposal.

Evidence connected to the offer

Relevant project decisions and implemented scope.

The service is supported by the same maintainability, deployment and operational thinking demonstrated in the published SQREX case studies. No uptime or growth result is guaranteed.

Questions before starting

Clear expectations reduce project risk.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Potentially. I first review the stack, access, documentation, security and existing backlog. Unsupported or compromised systems may require a separate stabilization project.

Is this an unlimited support plan?

No. Each plan defines an included allowance and request process so priorities and response expectations remain sustainable.

Does the plan include hosting?

Hosting and third-party subscriptions are normally billed directly by their providers. I can manage agreed technical configuration within the support scope.

Can you guarantee the website will never go down?

No provider can responsibly guarantee that. Monitoring, backups and preventive maintenance reduce risk and improve response, but infrastructure and third-party failures can still occur.

Can larger features be added?

Yes, but work beyond the monthly allowance is estimated and approved separately or scheduled as a dedicated project.

Is there a minimum term?

The final proposal will state any onboarding fee and minimum term. A short initial commitment is normally needed to complete setup and establish a meaningful maintenance rhythm.
